Our Mission
Our mission at Massachusetts Gymnastics Center is to make a positive difference in the health and well being of our students. We believe that gymnastics is the best way to achieve this goal and can provide “lessons for a lifetime”.
Developing self-confidence, physical abilities and the discipline to achieve personal goals are a few of the benefits of a gymnastics education. We will strive for quality, excitement, and innovation in every program that we offer. MGC will provide programs directed toward building and supporting the aspirations and abilities of our students..
OUR HISTORY
MGC began in 1975 under the name Gymnastics Junction and was originally located on Waverly Oaks Rd in Waltham MA. As the program grew, MGC moved to its current home on Clematis Ave. in Waltham. For over fifty years we have welcomed thousands of children and become a place that generations of families, both near and far, have chosen to make part of their lives.
Over the years MGC has produced incredible athletes at every level of the sport. But our greatest pride has always been in the people they have become-successful, hardworking kind individuals who carry the lessons and relationships formed here long agfter the gymnastics days are behind them.
As MGC continues to grow and thrive, our purpose remains the same: to positively impact the lives of children, using gymnastics and the programs we offer to build confidence, character , friendships, and lessons that last a lifetime.
